In the ancient agora of Eretria the limestone foundations and crepis of a circular building ("tholos") have survived. It was erected in the 5th century BC with several modifications in the 4th and the 3rd centuries BC. It had two entrances as can be seen in the fundaments. A circular bothros has also survived at the centre of the monument, indicating a cultic function. |

The site is fenced but can adequately be seen from outside. It lies next to a house in an admirable state of sublime dissolution. |
